Have like 3mm left on the MLE, though. Take it, Kawhi. HEB commercials will make up the rest

Maybe George Strait can get him a record deal like Drake is trying to do.

Spurs may need to find a celebrity rapper super fan like Drake (Raptors) or Snoop Dog (Lakers) if they ever want to be a major player in NBA superstar FA market. Not sure country western record label enticements are going to cut it.

Can you imagine how good Caruso would look playing with those guys?
I'm against the idea of Kawhi to the Lakers...but this would definitely be a silver lining for me.
Toronto is a great city if you can stand the cold. There was a "heat warning" issued there today - the expected high is 84 degrees.Pumpkinhead said:Olsen said:
If Kawhi is only interested in signing a long-term contract, then pretty difficult to see him agreeing to lock himself up for several years living up north in cold Canada. That screams Lakers if he isn't considering a short term 1 or 2 year deal with Toronto.
Why would he care about locking himself down? He could always just fake an injury and force a trade.Pumpkinhead said:Olsen said:

There is it. The scorned lover jealous the new trophy wife.
So much salt from the sad little Rockets fan. Sorry they are never going to be better than they were this year for the foreseeable future, but at least you get to pay Chris Paul $125mm over the next three years. Third best basketball team in Texas over the last two decades, not badFarmer1906 said:Guitarsoup said:Farmer1906 said:Guitarsoup said:Why would he care about locking himself down? Hey dumbass, I was arguing about how he could be included in the conversation for top 3-5 NBA players of all time. I know reading is hard, but try sometime.
So much salt. Sorry the Spurs ran him off.
