There were teams in the 80s that could have scored like this if the league decided to ref games the way they do today.
Every moving screen... Err "seal" GS does to get free points whenever they wanted would not be tolerated by defenses back in the day.
Both these teams are the most proof anyone ever needs that players gave outgrown the current court dimensions. Too big. Too strong. Too fast.

Kevin Durant, a 7 foot tall shooting guard would look like an alien for those teams back in the 80's. He would be just as dominant offensively.

He'd be slammed to the ground enough on drives to the hoop that he'd develop quite the intimidated feeling and become an incredible spot shooter.
But again KD is exactly the point I'm making. Guys now (not in the 80s) are too big fast and strong for the current dimensions.
In the 80s if you had 2010's Refs, you'd just see incredibly pure shooting by a handful of teams. Back then guys knew what a mid range jumper was.

75% of this game guys were shooting wide open 3s, lightly contested layups, and dunks. That's not happening even just a few years ago. Who cares about the 80s
You're mostly wrong concerning this not being good offense, but it's true there have been a TON of lapses tonight by the Cavs. Kyrie Irving just missed a contested 2, and then jogged down court while Curry got a wide open layup. Just terrible.claym711 said:
3s have been open entire game. Wide open layups. Dunks. 4th quarter same as rest of series. People think this is great because it's entertaining and everyone always thinks right now is the lol greatest evaaa but it's terrible terrible defense.
