Let's see what Memphis can do with a health squad this year. Conley-Allen-Gay-Randolph-Gasol. Rudy Gay needs to show up this year, show he can score, and become a player to be feared.
I just hope injuries are not the downfall for this team as they were last season. Let's Go Grizz.

I'll be watching tonight as they play the Clippers.

They need to avoid their customary slow start and get ahead of teams that changed parts over the off-season.

Watched the 2nd half this morning while getting ready.


Conley was real disappointing, and Zach missed some easy shots that he won't normally miss.

2 pretty close teams that will likely battle for the 4-5 seed again.

Also, Grizzlies have won an opener since they beat the Sonics (!) in 2000.

I put Conley's poor play on the play of Chris Paul. He played well and forced Conley into bad situations. Randolph's play was a let down from what I was hoping.Rudy and Marc played very well which is encouraging. The bench was very ineffective, and I am worried the Grizzlies don't have a whole bunch of depth on the bench. I wouldn't be surprised to see the Grizzlies drop another to Golden State. They score a bunch of points and could simply out score the Grizzlies.

Brandon Rush just had a pretty ugly knee injury, possibly done for season.

Randolph unintentionally injured 2 Warriors players.

Grizzlies playing fairly solid with a 12 point lead heading into the 4th.

Gay, Conley, Randolph, and Gasol all played very well tonight leading to a Grizzlies victory.

I can't make it past halftime for these West coast games.

I did watch the 2nd half; nice to come home 1-1.

Brandon Rush had an MRI confirm a torn ACL.

Tony Allen has taken 5 of the Grizzlies first 12 shots. He has missed every one of them.

Grizzlies making the Jazz look like a good team. Grizzlies 2-18 shooting so far.

They had Stern on commentary with the Jazz crew for a little while. I am just happy Memphis recovered to get out of the funk they were in during the first quarter.

Randolph flopped.

Bad ending with the foul at the end of the game. Awful shooting night for Rudy Gay tonight 3-17. Grizzlies won the game because of points in the paint and ft's.

Foye's steal at the end was B.S.

From his perspective, I guess he's playing to the end, but I'm not sure what Moe Williams was doing, except being an ass.

Agreed down by 10 with under :10 to go you shouldn't do stupid stuff like that.

Selby and Wroten only ended up logging 3 minutes each. Good clean win by the Grizzlies tonight. Big game coming up against the Rockets on Friday.

Kind of a sloppy first half by both teams. Refs calling a lot of touchy fouls.
