The most vocal and visible elements of our fanbase didn't want Berhalter from before he ever coached a game. He would have had to overperform just for certain folks to be be satisfied. The same type of person, that didnt want to initially accept Michael Bradley was our best midfielder while his father was our coach, etc.
Its not a huge issue, but its something that a Jesse Marsch or Steve Cherundolo or Herve Renard would likely have to deal with as the atmosphere in the fanbase, but probably not something that a Jurgen Klopp would even gaf about (although those folks would likely be mollified Klopp, but will likely turn back up once the team starts getting picked)
