I 100% agree with that. I guess what I'm saying is that I believe the chances of EPL teams actually trying to sign CP is much higher than EPL teams signing Pepi. These teams are constantly scouting players so you're right about that.
For sure.

This is why I chose the USMNT over the Cowboys game.

funny how most of the networks are cutting the pulisic clip short now and not showing the trump dance part. This country is so messed up.

Most of us here know this, but i enjoyed reading it.

Tessman is the perfect example of how leaving the MLS to go to Europe can grow your career.

No it's just the libs running sports broadcasting industry. Pulisic did the Trump dance because he saw several NFL players doing it and thought it's fun and not necessarily reflecting his political affiliation.

It's not not reflecting though. If he was a trump=hitler guy, he's clearly not doing that dance.

Anyways, I'll stop there before some lib goes reeee and says take it to F16!

People these days get upset about everything. Get used to it.

Was out of the house and missed this one, but the goal highlights are delicious.

Also - this is an interesting stat that bodes well. We should be able to pass the ball around and also find openings to shoot… it was crazy how many times under Ggg we'd have great buildup play through the middle only to have it die in the final third.

I came here now to post this.

Crazy that we were able to finish and get a shot off rather than just hope for a shot off a cross or lose possession in the final third.

Asked what he attributed the fast start to, Weah didn't hesitate. "Honestly, it's the coach," he said. "We kind of just listened to what his instructions were in training, and we applied it to the field. "He gives us the freedom to play,"

And the tactics he used yesterday may not be the ones he uses on another opponent.

I personally am expecting 1-3 players that aren't currently in the Senior side picture to progress into the 18 man roster, if not some of them even forcing their way into starting lineups.
Theres too much talent still coming through the pipelines, and its not like we have an all world starting lineup.

Its going to be on Poch to find the right mix of players that can execute the strategy/philosophy he wants. Its not necessarily the best 11 players.
I personally would never beleive in Gregg getting that right, but have hope Poch will so far.

I agree. Is it too much to ask that one of them is some CB we don't know much about yet?

This is what I've been saying for a full year about Tessmann being a better fit in midfield than what we've been rolling out there. Maybe he wasn't ready for WC Qatar, but he literally had Christian Roldan on the roster with no intentions to play him.

Don't be surprised if Poch experiments with Tessmann at CB when Tyler Adams comes back healthy into the USMNT. I don't agree with it but this move could happen.

Wouldn't be surprised to have Tessmann play against certain types of opponents instead of Adams

I have a feeling Poch will find a way to have the best 11 on the pitch at the same time.

I can't wait for Adams to return.

I've been critical of his lack of offense (and yes, I'm comparing to other 6's when I make those complaints), but now that early returns say that Poch's got our offense cooking - we don't need Adams to contribute to the offense beyond what he's already good at (distributing to playmakers).

We do desperately need him to do what he's world class at doing - providing coverage for our leaky back line. Especially when Poch has our FB's running wild.

It's fun to imagine what this team could look like with a few more months under Poch and some key guys returning.

Really need someone to just decide to start holding all the talking heads in every sport to the bs they try to slip by.
