It is big that hes getting an opportunity to actually play up top, and is looking the part.Ken Scarborough said:Furlock Bones said:
Hype train rolling out. Toot toot.
I've ALWAYS been on his side, but it is hilarious how every thought he sucked when he struggled on a couple of overmatched teams then has success and everyone thinks he's the greatest. It's hilarious.

Hope JS can keep getting PT up top. It'd be awesome if he could get on a hot streak heading into the WC.

He wasn't ready yet. But I fully expect him to be the next guy, he's publicly said he wants the job.AustinScubaAg said:

I thought this was an interesting piece using Marsch, his results, and how they are covered in the broader English media as an indicator of the wider sentiment towards Americans in English football. Don't agree with all the points but do agree with a lot of them.Quote:
What this illustrated was what we already knew, just in particularly fresh, stark terms: we, as a footballing nation, have a problem with Americans. We believe them to be interlopers in our game; hopeless imposters to be sneered at, who simply don't have the historical connection or the ingrained footballing culture to ever really belong.
You generally don't go from successful EPL manager to national team manager. He isn't leaving Leeds for the USMNT.La Bamba said:AustinScubaAg said:

Makes me think he's on the short list to be the next head man.
I don't know about the destroying every myth thing, but I do know Marsch damn sure did out coach the great German tactician this weekend. And it was a sight to behold.Dre_00 said:I thought this was an interesting piece using Marsch, his results, and how they are covered in the broader English media as an indicator of the wider sentiment towards Americans in English football. Jesse Marsch is single-handledly destroying every myth about Americans and (our) football
I agree mostly, but it's not out of the question either.Aston94 said:You generally don't go from successful EPL manager to national team manager. He isn't leaving Leeds for the USMNT.La Bamba said:AustinScubaAg said:
