Sidenote to the #DeadlineDay madness, Christian Pulisic joined up with the USMNT on Sunday and trained with the squad yesterday ahead of their World Cup qualifier with El Salvador.

His mandatory isolation having tested positive for Covid-19 ended on Saturday night.

News: Christian Pulisic has not traveled with the USMNT to El Salvador. Not necessarily surprising as he regains fitness after a 10-day Covid quarantine. Still could play Sunday in Nashville vs. Canada.

Need the 3 pts versus Canada more than the 1 pt versus El Salvador, imo. And if we can't replace CP against a team like ES, we don't have the depth I thought we did.

We should have enough firepower even without CP to win @ El Salvador with Aaronson, Reyna and KDF on the wings. This gives CP time to build up to a full 90 against Canada and Honduras.

I think we'll be fine. I just like soccer better when Pulsic is playing. I make the same joke every time Chelsea doesn't start him.
