You knew it was a dream because you know Berhalter would have had Jordan Morris in the game while Mo Salah watched from the bench.

I had a dream the other night that the US scored 6 goals in about 35 minutes in the first half against Costa Rica. They were just pounding away at the goal and probably had an additional 10 shots on frame at the CR goalie was actually doing a great job at keeping some of them out. I was going crazy and the most excited I've been about US Soccer in a long time.
Towards the end of the barrage MO Salah put a couple in and I was confused for a bit and then sad when I realized it was a dream.

Hope he can get consistent minutes!KCup17 said:

B. It's not just home league, mits teams that do well in Champions league.
C. We're improving butHaving 1 or 2 starters in those leagues quit aren't there yet.
He wasn't a CB. He was playing the 6 and would drop back between the two centerbacks at times to pick the ball up in possession.deadbq03 said:

Very interesting to see how he played there, albeit against 2nd tier bottom feeders. He had a ton of freedom. Most of the time he was the deepest CB, but at least 25% of the time, he moved up and looked more like his natural DM role. Maybe that was by design, or maybe he just slid in there based on what he's accustomed to, but either way it looked good. He played extremely well in this role, but to be fair, he wasn't really challenged due to it being against Nuernberg. The commentators rightly noted that was an experiment that wouldn't have happened in Bundesliga play but it's good that Adams is an option for them there.
His versatility is a huge asset from a club perspective, but I'm not sure it bodes well for the USMNT.
No, he was a CB today. I watch more Leipzig than anyone here, and I can say with certainty that he was their center CB in a 3 man back today.PatAg said:He wasn't a CB. He was playing the 6 and would drop back between the two centerbacks at times to pick the ball up in possession.deadbq03 said:

Not sure that's a great move for Dest. He more than likely will get more minutes staying at Ajax. That is what he really needs right now. He'll be fighting Pavard for minutes at RB and likely Davies' backup at LB at best.
