I'm pretty sure that was the plan moving forward. But yeah, they all wanted to go home and let that save stand.

If anyone is interested, the English media has been very complimentary of Mr. Pulisic. I've seen at least a couple of articles referring to him as "Hazard-like" which can never be a bad thing...unless of course one is referring to the noun rather than the proper noun.

At least someone of there is positive about him. Rarely see a player take so much hate on the international soccer boards and its mainly because he is American and therefore overrated.

Another thing I don't get...people who complain about Pulisic coverage on American EPL broadcasts. Fine, we get that a lot (most) of soccer fans in the US don't care about the USMNT but that doesn't mean it isn't perfectly normal to spend a disproportionate amount of time talking about him. For people who claim not to care about the USMNT/Pulisic they certainly do like to complain about a problem that can 100% be solved by hitting "mute" and moving on with their lives.

Pretty quiet game from Pulisic

Disappointing day for Pulisic.

Last game pulisic's first touch was to turn and beat the Man U right back - fantastic. He started with pace and confidence.

This game, it seems like he's less confident and playing "not to mess up".

I hope he gets back to his usual electric confidence soon.

Midfield is a problem. Kante is great at defense but gives the ball away on any pass. Jourjiho is terrible at defending and easily gets frustrated and disappears.

Midfield - still bad

Barkley is hard to watch.

Yeah, he's bad. He tries, but the skill just isn't there. We can either play Kante and Ross and be solid defensively but terrible possessing the ball (we won't even talk about attacking). Or we could play Ko and Jourg and be decent attacking but basically have 2 people to watch the back 4 scramble after runs from the midfield line. There's no in between and trying to mix those 4 just ends up not being able to either functionally.
