Freaking Wanyama needs to find a seat on the bench.. He does that crap at least once or twice a game. You give the ball up easily you sure as hell better bust your ass to defend and get it back. Especially that close to your own goal... Fugh!

Lloris started and ended the suck with that poor throw and that horrible attempt at a save. Wanyama was the suck in the middle of the suck sandwich.

Dembele looked hurt on the last goal

Didn't have any issue with Hugo's throw. Wanyama controls it and it's a solid counter. His missed save on the other hand.

As I remember it, Wanyama was facing Lloris and was relatively well marked. Yes he gave the ball away but I don't think he was the right outlet option. Maybe I'm misremembering though.

The way I saw it it we have a great break if want makes the pass...
Imo, Chelsea made a great play more than us messing up

post made in the heat of the moment i assume, but you should tap the brakes on the wanyama to the bench talk. he's one of the best defensive mids in the premier league. had a bad game coming back from injury...it happens.

the one issue i have with poch's system/lloris's decision making is that sometimes the smart play is to just boot it to midfield. not necessarily saying this is what happened on the lead up to the winner, but far too often lloris tries to force play out from the back in situations where he should just get the ball out and let the defense regroup. he also should have save that shot.

I personally thought Lloris was MoM.

I tend to agree. How he successfully managed to get both his arm and leg out of the way of a shot from so close really was incredible. Unbelievable reflexes.

Most humans would have just stood there and the ball would have smacked their hand or shin and died 2 ft in front of them. Then they would have had to fall on it.
