I think that game illustrated two things to me:
1) Mourinho will definitely not end his career as United manager. In fact, I think he has 2 years left...max...even if he wins a league title or two.
2) Lukaku needs a damn rest. Wasn't the whole reason for bringing Ibra back to provide more options? Let the man have a break. He needs it.

Agree. Lukaku needs a break. Don't have specifics but i can't recall many (if any) games he has missed. Obviously he is not playing great now but maybe giving him a full week rest could pay dividends...

After 17 ganes we are sitting at 12-2-3 and 38 pts. Projected over the season that's an 86 pt finish and a record of roughly 27-4.5-6.5. That is the point total Spurs finished at last year. And we have the second best GD by a mile.

Obviously at times it feels like this team could be even better than they are but you have to be happy with where they are this year vs last year and also like how they are set up for years to come...
The problem is City has had an historic first half. The only way they get caught is DeBruyne goes out for the rest of the season.

GInteresting. That's twice that Bristol players have physically interfered with Romero trying to distribute the ball and twice that Dean has had to blow it dead. Not sure why he bothered to give a second ass chewing. The first clearly didn't work.
45 minutes of straight out meh. This lineup is tortoise level slow.
