This will be Pirro's third team. Makes me wonder what's going on there.
O'Rourke scored against UNC, so that seems good.
None of them have stellar stats, but O'Rourke was a consistent starter over two years for South Carolina, so that's decent. I hope they bring goals.

I agree with this, makes me worry a bit. Solid additions, but do they move the needle? Luckily some of the stud freshmen come back from season long injuries and hopefully use their grifts wisely

The only player that I heard G say was coming back was Taylor Pounds when G was on Texags radio early in December. Pretty sure 2023 was Kenna Caldwell's covid year.
I looked at Xavier's website. Kennedy Clark will be a sophomore midfielder after starting every game for Xavier which was a 4-seed in the NCAA Tournament but lost to UT in the first round. She averaged 62 minutes a game.
The Xavier coach took the Kansas job. I don't recall us having a player from Kentucky before.

The more I hear about Bailey Cate, the more excited I am about her potential impact. An attacker (not defender as I initially was told), she is just getting back from a broken leg and said to be tearing it up. Could be an immediate impact player at a position of need in '25.

Hearing the injury bug has bitten the Aggies hard. 7 (?) total ACL injuries currently in the training room. That seems like a lot, especially after several torn ACLs last spring. Something doesn't sound right if there's that many of the same injury.
I keep waiting for another commitment announcement for 2025, but the pool is drying up quickly. It's shaping up to be a disappointing class, without a single top 10 player from Texas, and only one of the top 20. Meanwhile, the 'sips continue to clean up. It's a disturbing trend.

Added a solid forward from Rutgers: Allison Lowery a 5th year senior
She's scored at least 6 goals in each of the last 3 seasons, and has had 4 assists each year! Was a key piece to Rutgers semi final team in 2021

Enough elite players to make the program a national championship contender don't come to Aggieland because they know coach G's ceiling is sweet sixteen/great eight, save for one outlier College Cup appearance. Is Brie Severns still with the team? I didn't read all 31 pages so I might have missed an earlier post. She was a portal transfer from the University of Kansas.
2026 news! G dips back into the Dallas Solar pipeline to pick up Morgan Landry, who is a 3 star and ranked #38 in the state.
I'm told she plays forward for club, but probably projects more as an outside back at the college level and the optimistic perspective would be that Landry has shades of another former Solar player, MaKihya McDonald. Athletic enough, but is going to need some work to develop the technical and finishing skills needed to become an impact player.

There have been a lot of commitments happening for the 2026 high school class in the past month and, at least early on, it's shaping up similarly to the 2025 group in that we appear likely to whiff on all the elite in-state prospects. Eight of the top ten from Texas are already committed, and none will be Aggies.
And another for 2026! Finley Lacher, a forward from Calofornia powerhouse Slammers.
Lacher is ranked #84 overall in the country and one of the Top 30 forwards in the class. Was twice named ECNL All-American. Very good pickup here.

Depends on what your definition is, but Ruiz and Lacher would probably qualify as "big time." They are top 100 in the country and should be expected to contribute early.
