Thanks for the update on Mikaela. She is a big time prospect in the midfield. Great, great player. 2 National Team members to start the 2014 class. Very impressive. When was the last time A&M signed 2 kids like this from their home state? I don't think it's ever happened as UNC, Stanford, or Notre Dame usually get them.

As expected, both Haley Pounds and Mikaela Harvey are ranked among the elite prospects in the country by Top Drawer Soccer in their first release of the 2014 Top 150. Pounds is ranked #7, while Harvey checks in at #11. Hopefully they continue to develop and can come to A&M ready to start as freshmen. A&M has never landed the top two kids in Texas that were ranked this high. Let's hope this builds serious momentum for a crucial '14 class.

True, but not 2 of the Top 10 prospects nationally like this group. There are still several more Top 75 caliber kids in Texas to choose from, but I think we're probably hitting SoCal hard for some more elite ones.
This is great news!
Another commitment for the '14 class added. I think this is shaping up to be a stellar class for Coach G.

There have been several commits in the last week. Some in the 2015 class already. I'm trying to track them down.
I noticed Haley Pounds is playing up for Challenge ... she is on their U18 roster for the upcoming ECNL season.

Notre Dame has TWO sets of twins in their 2014 class! That seems like cheating, you get two players and really only have to recruit like it's one.
Updated with new commitments. Coach G is on fire with the '14 class. Very strong class to combine with the '11 class when they are seniors. That 2014 squad will be the most talented team A&M has ever fielded.

Michaela Harvey has eight goals and two assists in 11 matches for her U17 Lonestar side (plus a bunch of cards!). By the way, her profile shows her to be uncommitted. Not sure if that means anything.
Emily Bates has 13 goals and six assists in 14 matches for the U16 Dallas Texans.
Hopefully those players can continue to develop offensively. We could use some firepower.

Haley Pounds was in town last night playing basketball for Woodlands Christian against Brazos Christian. During the 10PM sportscast KBTX identiifed her as an Aggie soccer commit and had video of her making a 3 pointer.
