Great Story, I was sitting in the Zone and saw as he was walking away after scoring the touchdown and he then tapped his hand on the top of the helmet....I was thinking he was telling the coaches to take him out but now I know the rest of the story.....Thanks

Jaxson is a friend of my nephew and I have met him and been around him on a few occasions. This story is great but does not surprise me. He is a really cool guy and I know his family means a lot to him. I have met his folks before too and they are very nice people. What a great gesture for his grandpa, I am sure he was looking down and smiling at Jaxson. Jaxson is a great guy and he truly loves being an Aggie.

When you watch the video, watch Jaxson the whole time. He and Melvin Bullitt basically have an equal chance at the ball, but Jaxson definitely wanted that touchdown.

I went to the Clemson game. A lot of Aggie fans waited for the team bus to arrive at the dressing room. It just so happened when the team busses arrived I was standing near the Appel family. Jaxson was the last player to get off the bus. He went directly to his mom and hugged her neck. His "favorite aunt" was nearby. His father stood next to me and several feet from his wife. The pride in his face was obvious. Jaxon is my favorite player. Thanks Ags for sharing this great story and the great pictures.
