Pate is cool because he is a real college football fan that made it big with just college ball. All the other guys fake there way thru college stuff but want to do pro. Or they have to do pro and they don't get into enough on the complexities of the college game. From game play to recruiting it's rough. Pate is like most of us real college football guys that don't even recognize any other sports.

no he's not.

Pate is in his late 30s. Elko has him by 10 years.

no he's not.

Pate is in his late 30s. Elko has him by 10 years.

Elko is 48.
Pate is 40.

I'll revise and extend my comment just like Congress Critters. I've been Type 2 diagnosed since 1996. Without GLP-1 I went from 295 to about 220 and with GLP-1 my a1c bounces some but currently about 6.3. The weight is about 215 currently. The notion it only is used for weight loss is false.

But more importantly: it potentially reduces worst case outcomes when used for weight loss and likely extends life span.

Your comment suggests you disdain people who use it for weight loss. I entreat you to develop compassion instead. If it helps, more power to them regardless of what your judgment is of them.

While GLP-1 has been a positive for people, especially the Type 2 folks, there are still unknowns for the long term effects.
Using it for weight loss could very well end up going down the same path as Fen-Phen in the 1990's that resulted in a lot of people suffering heart damage.
People should just be cautious about diving in on the latest weight loss craze.

You're suggesting something that is best handled by tracking side effects not making unsubstantiated statements and comparisons.

Interestingly part of the fenphen pair is used in some cases to reset GLP-1 sensitivity I've been told. A related article (that isn't human applicable so don't do it.)

GLP have been in use widely over 20 years...for DM

More popular ones like Ozempic since 2017 and Munjaro 2022, so anything truly nasty likely has been flushed

out.

Wow, that was one of the best interviews I've ever seen!
