Really wish we'd gotten Nic Anderson now.
The story is kids ONLY care about their NIL deal now. Little concern is given to the team or coaches or fans.MisterJones said:Texas A&M WR Noah Thomas has entered the transfer portal

Looks legit. I wonder what the story is here…

I have never seen a 6'6" receiver do less with height.
Could not jump up and go get it.
Never came down a 50/50 ball.
Could not get separation.
This is exactly why people are throwing their hands up in disgust. The NCAA has ruined college football, heck everyone is a free agent every year.NomadicAggie said:
THESE KIDS DON'T CARE ABOUT YOUR SCHOOL!!!
The only thing that matters is getting paid. Period. This is the pros now.

Ok. This is strange
But he was probably going to be WR3 or 4 going into next year.
Sorry bud, there's not a really good way to sunshine pump this loss. Noah is a unit and a different maker. Big loss.

He may not have been all world, but he was better than any WR on our roster next year.
This program is a complete dumpster fire.
From my observations, Barber was a more effective receiver than Thomas or anyone else.1876er said:

Veteran Aggie wide receiver enters portal following three big off-season additions. Was a threat to go prior but Elko and Co fought to keep him in the fold. https://t.co/cEOg3XovAX

No. Nobody . . . knows . . . what . . . NIL stands for . . . only . . . you.dcg4403 said:
Do ANY of you have a clue? Do you know what "NIL" stands for?
It is a business for Noah and all the kids with talents like him.
Does this mean he wants to leave A&M?
NO.
Kid wants market value for his likeness.
If this offends you? Stop watching college sports. The days of being committed to a school or fan base is LONG OVER.
And having a QB with a great deep ball and accuracy certainly helps. If I am Noah....I am not confident that Reed gets there.
Selfish world of NIL. Just like corporate America.

You think replacing 8 TDs is going to be easy?Blinnaggie2002 said:
No big deal we have a huge haul coming in of players way better than him. Good riddance.

Yet another example of someone leaving that we "didn't want/wasn't any good/wasn't going to get much playing time" and the second string guy we signed Pecker Tech with 11 receptions for 106 yards was the guy we wanted all along.
What offends me is him dropping a near perfect pass against USC that would have sealed the victory.dcg4403 said:

Well, they were on TV that second which is where the stat came from, and they're known as a high-powered passing offense. That's why they were mentioned, which triggered you.TexasAGGIEinAR said:Ag1188 said:is that not elite for a Klein offense?the most cool guy said:
This doesn't bother me at all. He averaged 3 catches a game for 44 yards. That is easily replaceable.
I actually thought I saw where the Sips leading-WR averaged like 55 yards per game.
Why do we have to compare him to a tu receiver? Aren't there over 100 other schools that play D-1 football? The ******* sip obsession never ends.
I have doubts any of that is true for any Aggies, but I'd bet you are the type who everyone everywhere mocks.Bill Superman said:Some if these guys want to be sip. Kevin Concepcion, the receiver we just got from the portal, has worse stats than Thomas.
I remember some folks were saying the same thing last year when Stewart transferred. And the same people were complaining about our receivers sucking during the season.TexasAggiesWin said:one safe place said:

This is exactly my thoughts as well, guys like Thomas are few and far between. This is a potential big loss but we have some on here acting like we have multiple Randy Moss's on board at WR for next year
