No we don't. Who do we have with more production than Noah? We might have the worst WR corps in the country.

This is like when yall said we were better off with Hubenak than Kyler and Allen.

Meh. It's the waybill college football now. It's sad that this will end up killing college football as we know it.

This. I'd love to keep him because he would most likely be a major player at WR but he hasn't shown he's the guy at WR.

What stinks is that we don't seem to have "the guy" at any position.

Scourton is a prime example. He was an impact player that disappeared in Nov.

Seems like no one wants to play here as time goes on and NIL takes hold.

Fans just want to know WHY doesn't anyone want to play or coach here. It can't be the money.

You think replacing 8 TDs is going to be easy?

Kevin Concepcion, the receiver we just got from the portal, has worse stats than Thomas.
Well Concepcion had a total of 8 TDs same as Thomas and did it in 1 less game.

Concepcion has more career yards and TD in less time. Craver has better stats in his Freshman year than Noah did last year (outside of TD) in 1 fewer game.

Is it as simple as his desire to get #1 receiver money while the coaches don't feel he's worth that?

This thought that you can't be a valuable contributor to a team if you're not an all-world player is so stupid.

Maybe Thomas is not good enough to be WR1, but he sure is good enough as WR2 or WR3.

Don't get me wrong I would like to keep him.

But if we have finite resources, I want to spend it on the defense.

I don't care what people say on here, defense wins championships.

Its not as much the talent we're losing as the experience. Although talented, our current WR corps is very unproven outside of Concepcion

I expected him to be our #3 guy next year but that is full of assumptions. He may have done better with less pressure on him or he may have not seen the ball as much. Now it looks like we won't know.

Sorry bud, there's not a really good way to sunshine pump this loss. Noah is a unit and a different maker. Big loss.

This comment right here GUARANTEES you have no idea what you're talking about….LOL

Because Concepcion's true fish year compare to Thomas' entire career, so we have to make sure we don't count it.

Yeah that's a bit much. He probably would have been a key player but most likely WR3 or 4.

I call him his 2024 the "Terry Davis" rule. Terry Davis was a post player on those awful mavericks teams. Averaged double doubles. The rule simply means some one is going get those points (catches).

The story is kids ONLY care about their NIL deal now. Little concern is given to the team or coaches or fans.

If you think that concern was EVER given to fans, you probably still believe in Santa Claus.

Jeez, there are some naive people in the world.

Maybe he realizes that he does not have a future in the NFL. So while he can get a bag, he goes to the portal to see what the market thinks of him. Now it may stink for us since we're so passionate about our school, but if you were 20 years old and had a chance to make several more hundreds of thousands of dollars at a different schoo, you would've probably jumped at the opportunity.

That said, he underperformed his contract. And it's a good thing that our GM decided not to meet his demands. (I'm assuming this is what happened)

While he clearly would be down the list his size and body type make him interesting in the mix as a different length look than perhaps wr1/2. So he might get the same number of targets still even though dropping in the order.

His lack of athletic explosiveness, leaping ability and lack of strength make him very middle of the road. Why he hasn't developed more physically could be just his lack of desire to add weight and really produce in the grip strength full body and complex movement type lifts, ie deadlift, cleans

Reed threw laser TD pass to him and he had no idea what to do. Would love to keep him and maybe he needs a raise but it's not like he was a game changer making those plays.

There have been some really poor takes around here, and you list one said before about Hubenak and then state one about the worst wr room in the country. Quite amusing.
