Really happy for Woodville to even be playing in Jerryworld. They never made it past a couple of rounds of the playoffs before this year.

It truly sucks that the big ones are on the same day and times as the college playoffs. Hopefully all the metroplex teams win their Championships.

Any options for streaming? Had to do a fubo 7 day trial subscription last year. Was hoping it would be available on YouTube TV at some point?

Muenster vs Shiner used to be a lot of cross over German and Czech ties with those two towns.

I guess six man doesn't need much prep? If they played Friday or Saturday and turn around and play Wednesday you have Monday and maybe Tuesday ,if you're not traveling that day.
Y'all school me on 6 Man- do they just do what they are going to do regardless of how opponents line up, and just have "rules" to follow?
If so, just watch some film, they are in shape at this time of year?

Shiner has some young talent to keep an eye on. Especially in baseball.

Look for them to make deep runs in football the next few years.

Generally, teams start to play later rounds on the same day as their respective championship to stay on routine. For example, 6A and 5A-I teams play 4th and 5th round games on Saturdays to prepare for the Saturday title game.

For 6-man though, there's less teams in the 1A division, leading to less rounds in the playoffs, so they've had a week off since their semifinal games. Jayton last played on 12/6, while Oakwood, Whiteface, and Gordon last played on 12/7.

Interesting tidbit: North Crowley head coach Ray Gates played RB for Shiner circa 2000. His record has been phenomenal as HC at NC.

• 2023 - 14-1 - Lost to Duncanville who won state championship. Gates named 2023 Forth Worth COY. PF 788 | PA 258
• 2022 - 12-1 (Gates' first year at NC). PF 526 | PA 252

GONADO ! My mom was born there ...... so a special wish for them !

Shiner ! My dad was born and grew up there !

NC is where I graduated. He has done an incredible job. 3 years in and he has not lost a regular season game yet. His two loses are in the playoffs. NC has historically been a bball school. In 2004 they made one of the craziest runs to a state title but other than that not too many playoff appearances.

If I recall correctly, Six Man had last week off. They have 5 rounds of playoffs, not 6.

Has anyone done the Fubo trial? That looks like my only solution for this year.

I'm going all in for whiteface. I will be giving them a New Mexico title credit with a win as well.

Amazing how many teams are from the "Texas Triangle".

My Dad graduated from Columbus High School. Definitely pulling for them.

Always like making my patients watch these first few games. We get a lot of out of state folks who've never seen 6-man football

Jayton is absolutely killing Oakwood.

Jayton is about to mercy rule Oakwood in the first half.

Jayton wins 54-8. Game ended after the 1st half.

Don't sleep on Smithson Valley. Probably one of the most disciplined teams in the finals. Coach Hill is a Texas HS hall of fame coach. They'll be ready.
