Same problem as starting at the 25. It could go forever. On top of that, it's not normal offense and defense. Defending 10 yards of field is just as quirky as defending a 2 point play. If coaches truly studied analytics as much as they say the word, they would find ways to make opposing offenses have first and goal from the 10. It's a fine idea; it's just no more valid than 2 point plays as far as it relates to actual football.

I thought his name sounded familiar. I remember now looking him up at the playoffs last year after some nearby fans started filling us in on some details about him and his family. There's a Texas Month story about how his dad moves around the state and gets coaching gigs that allow him to coach his kids. This is the third school this kid has won a state championship with (Strawn and Benjamin in six-man being the other two). I'm assuming he and his dad transferred this year to increase his visibility to D1 recruiters. I believe he's now committed to Wyoming.

Columbus may have had two DTs and two DEs on paper, but its front seven all had LB builds. All were quick, fast, very disruptive, and, even though the game was a total beatdown, very fun to watch.

He surprisingly got shut down by my Greyhounds last week. Of course, they torched us through the air, but the running game, and Callis, was basically non-existent.

That is something they plan heavy on. Teams will focus a ton on him and they'll torch you in the air.

I just wish the team hadn't been overshadowed by one of their coaches. It was an assistant. He was acting like a fool, yelling at our coaches across the field. It wasn't very respectable at all.

Tonight should be a good one! Excited to watch!

Yeah its still part of regular cable lineups so I can watch it at work. But Bally's/FD isn't carried by most streaming things like YTTV or HULU TV.
