Not at all, he would be past the line of scrimmage and then you go get him. Don't leave ur guy wide open , that's rookie ball mistakes


He was far enough back that he was screwed either way.

Have to know the situation though.

Leave your man, easy first. Let the QB cross the line and he has to get like 8 more yards before he has the 1st.
they were converting either way once scourton whiffed on the sack. If he stuck with the receiver qb was getting it for sure. He was hoping someone might come up behind to pressure the catch. Right call imo

Def doesn't know how to close out a game…we will lose a couple games later this season due to this. Too much confusion and busted coverages. Even when 100k know the pass is going to the TE and we provide too much cushion.
