What's the background on this guy (yes, I've seen his background on wiki), but is he a hot commodity? Do we know why he turned down Penn State? Should we be excited? I hope so.

Former KSU QB I believe, has turned down several schools on the past year or two like Notre Dame and Penn St. young guy with a lot of energy that keeps QBs happy

According to K-State fans on twitter, he turned down ND last year and is also in contention for the Ole Miss OC job. Starting to wonder if him turning down jobs is the Kansas version of "Rick Barnes took his name out of consideration".

He seems relatively well thought of by K-State fans but he's also an alumni that has spent his entire coaching career at K-State.

One of the finalist for the Heisman when JFF won. Their offense was very good this year and apparently they are very balanced.

Who would have ever guessed a decade after JFF wins the Heisman the other QB on the stage could possibly be our OC.

Maybe get Manti Teo for LB and can get his girlfriend to lead the Aggie Hostesses.

After the Jimbo experience, I would prefer coaches that can coach over coaches that can recruit. Especially when we already have the facilities and the NIL to recruit for us.

Wow! That's wild news if true! A dude with that kind of skill on the field is a heck of a complement to the strategic skills to succeed in the role if he has them. I sure like the idea of a Heisman contender vs. an armchair OC who hasn't ever competed at that level!

Looks official. It's always great to get option #1. He was also Director of Recruiting at one point so he should be able to recruit too. Great hire.
