Mond in those first couple of years could still take off for 80 yards once a game.

I don't understand the level of incredulousness in this thread however. Go look at his high school stats. Eerily consistently mediocre and got blown out in his lone playoff game. He never was an SEC QB. Jimbo screwed this season in 2019 by betting on this. Makes no sense considering the QB talent in TX. There are 20 HS QB's playing right now that could move this offense more consistently.

He's Jamarcus Russell minus the toughness and little running ability. He can throw it 80 yards and that's it.

The 2nd drop was a perfect pass to the sideline he just dropped. The first pass was a little high, but he's also tall and got both hands on it

And not starting the game when Arkansas did. That's on the coaching staff, which got caught with its drawers down today. This wasn't the first time that's happened, and I fear it won't be the last.
