90% of the people we live and work with in TX went to BDF schools. When we won the games against Baylor and tech it was fun to rub it in their faces. Not a lot of people went to ole miss or Auburn. Plus more times than not we lose to them anyway. At least in the BDF and SWC we won a lot more than we lost.

We play better teams and have a better conference culture. Oh yeah...and none of our conference mates makes money off our branding on tv without sharing with us.

The whole setup is a bit more equitable and friendly. Which is why trolls keep trying to convince us it isn't good for Texas A&M.

I'd love to have this kind of talent to compete with in the Big 12. We have great young talent that I don't think we sign if we are in the big 12. Crazy to still be 3rd or 4th in our division with this talent on campus. Maybe it will get clicking in the next couple years. SEC is awesome.

The phantom flag from the tu loving ref. Otherwise big Sherm would have remained at the helm and all likelihood Showers would have started in front of JFF the next season.

Poster is correctly in saying that had we stayed in the Big 12 we almost assuredly would have made the championship game with Johnny. As it is now, we are not even close and haven't been since we moved.

The sad fact is there are Aggie fans who prefer to be in the SEC because they believe that victory-by-proxy is a real thing.... that because a couple of teams in our league dominate every season, that somehow gives us bragging rights.

Hooray we were on a better channel yesterday than Baylor!!! Nothing like having 10 times as many eyes watch us get murdered at home. B-b-b-but SEC!!

Face it- we aren't competitive. And spare me the "wait till next year Jimbo is building something special" lie. We are worse than we were last season.

The sec was a good move, to suggest otherwise is silly. The big 12 is a fragmented joke with a ton of issues, besides being led by a clown.

The sec has provided A&M with so much in terms of money, exposure and facilities that wanting to leave is insanity. Recruiting may not be where you want it but it would be worse in the big 12 and A&M wouldn't lure a coach here worth anything if still in the big 12.

the worse case scenario is 2 late kicks a year, also i personally would not mind having all day saturday to do stuff and end the day with late night game
it is very likely that if the deal had gone through the late kicks would be for west coast v west coast games. The broadcasters want ratings. games involving central time zones teams probably get the earlier kicks.
When the Ags played @ Ucla it was an late afternoon kick and that would likely be the norm. lastly We'd would not have 11 am kicks at Kyle against west coast teams.
