You're just pissed we lolpoors found out about Chavis before you did.

1. Hop and Billy believe the hire will be made tomorrow.
2. LSU plays tomorrow morning.
3. Beatty says Sumlin always hires people that beat him. LSU is the only team to consistently stop Sunlin.
4. We start losing recruits the very next day the first published report that Chavis is interested.
5. We have our guy and Chavis STILL has not signed his deal.
6. Hop said it's Durkin, Foster or Chavis. Durkin is rumored to Michigan, Foster signed his deal and has been fairly vocal he's not going anywhere.
7. Chavis is the ONLY name to appear in the press as anything other than speculation.

I think most people are fascinated by Rojo because the actual evidence points to him having real inside info. If there is actual evidence pointing to him being a fraud, a liar, and a troll then I think 99% of the people who are intrigued by what he is saying want to hear that and change their minds and stop listening to him. The problem is that the evidence against him isn't there....at least that has been brought forth in a clear way.

"Not one man on his (Texas A&M) staff came from any place other than a team that he lost to," Beaty said of Sumlin. "And particularly a team that overachieved in an area. His guys on his staff are all guys that beat him somewhere."

Ag_derp's post was before Rojo ever posted the name Chavis.
I do not think Ag_Derp was passing on info. I think he was guessing or trolling.
As for AggieRojo, maybe he is trolling about Spurrier, maybe he isn't. My personal guess is that he does know someone that has information.
quote:I could definitely see that being the case. Jumping the gun ever so slightly, even though his posts have seemed to be careful about wording things (which points to an attention to detail).
This is just a guess, but I think it goes something along the lines of the source telling Rojo "Sumlin is seriously talking to Foster/Chavis/Spurrier," then he runs to post that its "official" before it is to that stage.
I'd probably do the same. Aren't many things in life better than being immortal on Texags.
quote:lol except Rojo stated from his own account that he was strictly sunshine pumping about recruiting. People are using the chavis prediction and Kyler/Mack's commitment as badges that prove his worth. I can't speak to the Chavis deal with anymore certainty than you can, but from his own mouth, half of his "fame" is fabricated nonsense. And people are quick to forget that.

quote:Well I can't speak to the thread you linked above, but I would have never claimed that he wasn't sunshine pumping last year when he was saying that the signing day was going to be the greatest ever and was talking about how great things were in the program and how national championships were just around the corner. I think it was clear as day that he was playing the roll of a "cheerleader." BUT to me that has nothing to do with his claims of knowing inside info. He can know things and sunshine pump, they aren't mutually exclusive.quote:lol except Rojo stated from his own account that he was strictly sunshine pumping about recruiting. Don't believe me? Upgrade your subscription level and gander at this thread. Rojo admits to making up horse**** to prop up recruiting.

He predicted the "greatest class ever" and posted similar innuendos about Mack, Murray, Sheffield and other recruits (Boyd, ect.). All seemed well for Rojo with Mack re-committing and Kyler's reaffirmation...until things went sideways with Sheffield...and then with Boyd....and then generally no other high end recruits. People called out Rojo, blah blah blah, he then states that his intentions for posting were strictly to help "salvage" a class that was in danger of mean message board posters. He said users should only post positive things and that his posts were intended to generate positivity. NOTHING MORE. NO GRAND PREDITIONS. NO INSIDE INFO.
He had no clue where Kyler, Mack, etc. were going because they didn't either. And the rest of the thread devolves into work nitpicking and other nonsense. But that's the gist.

Two weeks ago
-- Kyler Murry was "a lock to t.u.", and lot's of people were posting negative comments about him
-- Daylon Mack was "a lock to t.u." and lots of people were posting negative comments about him
Do you remember that? I didn't come here to "build up expectations". I came here to shut up the idiots that were sinking our chances of getting these two back and flipping back a couple of others.
