What the heck does that even mean? What major societal challenges? What real world problems? It's very likely that I don't see eye to eye with a bunch of liberal academics on those "challenges" and "problems." Excuse me if I don't blindly follow. Tell me about it and let me decide whether I support it or not. Don't just give me a card and tell me it's a cool surprise.

But, like has been said many times, this isn't about the capital campaign. Its about using A&M football fans and, more than likely if the cards say what they're rumored to, embarrassing the program continually.

Edmond the problem is the "scientific method" in this case has been basturdized (sp to allow viewing) to reach conclusions that would not otherwise be reached.

I can see that you've never proctored an exam here.

I don't believe the University would do anything remotely embarrassing to itself, students, or former students, and I'm looking forward to seeing the show. Of course, it would be embarrassing if it didn't work.

My personal opinion: the Texas A&M Foundation works to bring in donations. They don't set policy of the University (in general) and they work hard to make giving easy and personal.

My personal interaction with them was as a student recipient of a scholarship and they worked very hard to help me connect with the sponsors of that. I've been invited annually to a reception recognizing sponsors and connecting them with their scholars. It has always been well done. I always feel very welcome. And I appreciate the work of the Texas A&M Foundation because they have enriched my experience as an Aggie. Thank you so very much.

He's not sketchy. He works for the foundation & is class of 1981. This venture and promotional ideas are what's sketchy.


It's a glorified bake sale without the brownies, & the promo is taking advantage of folks that are in a controlled environment in large numbers. Had they been forthcoming and informative, this likely takes place without concerns. They chose not to.
