We all know that high school football always has the chance to truly effect a community, a family and a team. Unfortunately this has happened in the saddest of fashions. Last Friday during the Spring High School playoff game Korey McNeal suffered a devastating neck injury fracturing multiple vertebrae. He was flown by life flight to Austin where he is currently hoping to regain feeling below the waist.

Korey is the younger brother of former A&M receiver Kenric McNeal. Please keep the McNeal family in your prayers and the entire Spring community. The Spring football team has pushed on to the 4th round of the playoffs this weekend against Westfield and hopefully they can keep this magical run going.

Not at this time, I will let yall know. He is a student in my wife's class and she is working on getting more information. It is still very early in what will be a very long process for them.
