On the one hand I respect Ags making a bold move. It's clear you have to do something new, because what you've been trying for 10 years hasn't worked.
On the other hand, this seems like an act of utter desperation. I guess you think you can't earn your way out of the UT shadow so you have to leave.
Sort of reminds me of these two brothers that went to Memorial High School. The older brother lettered in three sports, was the valedictorian, an Eagle Scout, gave the sermon on Youth Sunday and had the hot girlfriend. About as perfect a kid as you could meet. His younger brother was also a good, smart kid, but not quite up to his brother's ridiculous standards. He got tired of the teachers always comparing him to his older brother. So he transferred to a private school to start over and to escape his brother's shadow.
Both of the kids went on to college and did just fine. But the younger brother (15 years later) still suffers from a bit of an inferiority complex because of the nagging question of whether he would be a stronger guy if he had faced up to his challenges rather than run from them.
