Sports - especially football - in the south is much more of an event than in the west. Attending games in 1/2 empty stadiums in the west is like attending a game at Baylor. Not interested.

$%*# those dopehead hippies from the west coast. The sips might fit in with them, but A&M geographically and historically fit in the SEC, as long as we play the sips yearly making our last game of the season an OOC game on Thanksgiving Day.

Moving to the Pac 10 or the Big 10 would be so expensive compared to the SEC. The cost of flying out to the west coast or upper mid-west for EVERY sport seems like a very poor idea.

Why not just bring TCU and BYU into the Big XII?
