for the record...earlier question referred to the Angelo Football Clinic. Thought surely he would remember the cause for nearly missing his time on stage.
I enjoyed watching it unfold. And BTW, Sherrill's "fly by the seat of his pants" presentation surpassed about 95% of presentations I have attended.
Pretty sure Sherman had an O-Line seminar there once in the early 90's, too.

I’m 90% sure that this is Jackie Sherrill, but I’m working to confirm it. I spoke with Coach Sherrill a couple of weeks ago when he was on the Beliucci Hour. We discussed TexAgs and how his son viewed it “every night”.

The book should be a helluva good read.
I received a belated birthday card from when Jackie & Fran played at a tournament my cousin (coach, his initials are R.L.) was at approximately a year ago. I had never received an A&M birthday card (my cousin mailed it to me and inside was a maroon and white card in a blank envelope), but on the inside Coach Sherrill had signed it. To most it's just a piece of paper, but to an Aggie it's treasure without price, I love it. If this really is Coach Sherrill, I'd just like to say thank you so very much coach.
