Steven Little is the only instructor who can keep me interested for the 60+ minute rides. I like other instructors for shorter HIIT style rides, but not the longer ones.easttexasaggie04 said:
My favorite instructor was Steven Little. Go back and do some of his On Demand Endurance Rides if you are getting bored with the current crew.
Man, I listened in while my wife took one of Alex's classes, and neither of us thought much of him. I haven't tried any of the male instructors classes myself yet, but so far my favorites are Emma, Jess, and Christine. I do tend to ride slightly higher than their typical resistance ranges, but the class structures are good and I like their playlists typically.easttexasaggie04 said:
Yep, same here. While Steven Little was still with Peloton 90% of my rides were with him and the rest with Wilpers. I tried Dennis but didn't really like him as much. Now it's mostly Alex for me. But I still dig in the archives and ride old SL rides.
Climbing is all about power to weight ratio. Either increase your power or decrease your weight. Preferably both. If you have long steady climbs around you, you are better working on steady endurance power and raising your threshold power. If you have short punchy climbs and rolling hills, you may be better off working shorter higher intensity intervals and getting better at recoveryMaroonTxAg03 said:
Hadn't checked in to the outside run or sleep meditation things yet, will have to soon! I HAVE checked in to JJ's love of showing cleavage as much as possible, and I approve of her message.
Has anyone focused on climb rides? My goal is to be able to get out and legitimately ride up AND down these mountains that are all around me soon. I was a far cry away from that last summer. Not sure if I'm better off focusing on gaining power with PZ training or mixing in these climb rides?
I'm scanning through this thread while I still decide and saw this. Didn't see that it ever got answered. My only option too where I live is satellite internet. I'm worried that might be a problem with the live classes.ftaggie09 said:
Looking at getting one my only concern is my internet sucks. Live where satellite internet is my only opinion. Can you download the in demand classes?
I switched to ATT Fixed Wireless internet when it became available in my area as an alternative to Satellite Internet. It works great on it. I don't think it would've worked on Satellite the Ping time is to long.Na Zdrav 87 said:I'm scanning through this thread while I still decide and saw this. Didn't see that it ever got answered. ftaggie09, I see your name listed above now as an owner/rider. How is the satellite internet with live classes?
