Down 4.4 lbs but I got a head start by beginning on 1/1 and never weighed on 1/4. Still surprised at that amount, especially being over 40 now. Easy weight is off and going to be really hard now is my guess.

Hoping to maintain 2 lbs per week loss, but that will be dependent on whether I have any muscle gains.

I just saw this and want in please. I started a cleanse on Monday so I did weigh and measure. My starting weight - 205. Haven't been in the 2 in 2 years. Goal by May is 180....really hoping to lean up with adding weights this year. Goal by the end of the year is 170. I will weigh again Monday morning.

227 this morning. Down 5.5 lbs so far. First real off day tomorrow. Going to have milk, fruit, granola, chocolate and beer. Been meat, veggies and beans for 8 days.

First 2 days were hell getting off sugar and carbs. Then it got easy. Energy is up. Feel like getting some runs in.

Started the 21 day challenge at My Fit Foods. Also bought a Fitbit HR. Been doing CF for the last year but my eating habits are terrible. Hoping I learn nutrition and portioning from the 21 day challenge.

Only .6 down from where I started but that's 2.2 more than yesterday. Probably just a water weight thing. I'm sure it will all even out in the long run.

My moving average (which I'm using as my official weight) came in at 352.1 this morning.

I busted my butt too. I drank zero cokes which is impressive for me. Worked out each day. Cleaned up my eating choices.

I did lose an inch around my belly so I guess I lost something.

With how poorly I had been eating the past few months and how little I was working out, I had a feeling those first five pounds wouldn't be much trouble. It's the other 19 going forward that I'm concerned about.

Sounds like we are in similar situations.

I'm only down 0.4 lbs.I know how I normally eat, and I know how I ate last week. Last week was the cleanest diet week I've had in probably a year.

We're in this for the long haul, buddy. Make sure you're REALLY being honest with yourself about what you're eating, but if you're doing a good job on the diet then there's no reason to get too worked up about what the scale says.

Keep the faith. We will see results soon enough.

Got everyone's updates in the spreadsheet so far. There are a couple big numbers (in a good way) so far and that is great to see. This weigh in was almost two weeks for some people, so if you're not one of them, don't be discouraged. Some people have more "water weight" from the holidays that drops off easier.

I will throw this piece of advice out there. I struggle on the weekends, I usually lose 2-4 pounds during the week, but gain 2-4 pounds on the weekend. If you're one of those people, I would recommend to start "weighing in" on Friday morning's weight. This will leave out the weekend, and your weekly weight check will become more consistent.
