I try to stretch a little after each run, but I also know that I should be doing more of it. The soreness just started this week, so that's when I started trying to stretch after the run - especially the calves and hamstrings.
I'm not entirely sure how my foot hits the ground, but I think I'm a bit of a heel striker and I have REALLY flat feet.
Shoes are good. Got them (Brooks Beasts) about 3 months ago from The Runner in Arlington. Have walked a lot in them, but no running miles until the last couple weeks.
Will see how tomorrow's run goes and then I'll have a longer break until I run next week. Hopefully its just my body adjusting to getting into the whole running thing...
