I'll throw my $0.02 in here. I started C25K back in late March. My daughter had been doing the Girls on the Run program, which culminated in a 5K in late April. Of course, Dad had to do the run, too. For the first few weeks, my running schedule was directly proportional to my infant son's sleep schedule -- when he slept, I ran and when he didn't sleep, I didn't run. I did the 5K, but I was only on week 2 or 3 at that point. Once the sleeping settled down some, I was able to get into a rhythm of running 3 times a week.
I am currently through Week 8 Day 2. I was able to complete the Komen 5K in Plano last weekend in 31:27, running the whole way. I've had an absolute blast doing this program. I never thought I'd be able to run for 30+ minutes at a time.
