Good luck. I've seen that one in person. Bought my LC from the same guy. I got only good things to say about him.
I can't believe there is enough room to shoehorn a Duramax in an 80! I've been in a project hole and watched many videos on Duramax swapping square bodies before I talked myself out of that... Those aren't wham bam swaps like LS are. Kudos to the person who put the time in to do that.

Looking it over again this morning. I'm considering placing a bid on it. Have been talking with the guy that built it. Still needs a good bit of sorting- Ac work, pinion overdrive, custom fan shroud, etc. I'm hoping I get tied up at the office come hammer time honestly.

My truck came with the trailer wiring connection part when I bought it, but it was never installed. Installed that and towed ~7,500 LBs about 60 miles. Truck towed with no issues.
9.5mpg? were you going 45mph?
half kidding. my first time towing my 4,000lb trailer I was getting 7.5-8 before realizing I had to drive way below my normal pace. still lucky to get over 11mpg

I'm lucky to get 11 when towing nothing.
Went to Silverton this weekend. My brother was picking up his new trailer, but his tow vehicle wasn't ready so we took my LX.

Are they made there in Silverton?
Most of it is done there in Silverton. We toured their facility a while back and if I remember right, a lot of the raw aluminum cutting/bending is done somewhere else in Colorado. Then it's all welded together in their shop. I don't think the powder coater is in Silverton, but the owner said he tries to keep it all as close to them as possible.
My brother made a video of him checking it out mid build.
They finished it in a few weeks ago, but Sasquatch was sponsoring the skijoring and asked if they could display it on the course. As soon as they were done jumping it, we hooked up and took off.

Yeah it's all horses. At the end they did a single exhibition run being pulled my snowmobile, but I don't know why.
