Y'all really need to rethink that slogan of "The Livable Forest".
Centerpoint is the no talent ass clown, why should we change our name?
I concede…you are right. I just feel bad since it seems like every time a weather disaster happens, Kingwood takes it that much harder than the rest of us!
And I wasn't trying to be snarky. I feel like Kingwood does get (undeservedly) kicked in the teeth a lot
We bought this house in 09. Never flooded. During Harvey, we had a scheduled blackout from 12-8 am to repair lines.
Never lost power other than an hour here or there until May this year. Now we have two weeks on Beryl.
Of course, I'm from New Orleans so the elevation from the lake, elevation from street and distance from drainage were all factors for me.
I'm flying home now... Or trying. But all power is out at BWI airport and I've been on the tarmac close to two hours.
