Fwiw, my sister's neighborhood in Crosby (77532) is still shown on the map as back on by end of the day today, and her power was back on last night around 7pm. A friend of hers a mile or so north was supposed to get power by end of the day yesterday, and still doesn't have it on yet. So they are widely wrong in both directions. Hopefully that gives some hop for people seeing later dates on the map.

Guys. AgLA06 is having fun. The madder everyone gets the more fun he's having. He's a troll, and his schtick is to take the opposite side of all the Centerpoint criticism to keep the party rolling.
On this topic, he's trolling, he's enjoying this, and everyone engaging with him is derailing the thread even further (including me and it stops after this post). He's baiting fellow Ags who are miserable, angry and at their wits end trying to stay functional because it's fun for him. Have a friend in the Height near Heights HS - map said by end of Day July 15 - they just got power so keep your heads up and generators full but could be sooner than the map indicates.
My MIL was driving me insane, so I hit the corner store, bought some St. Arnold double IPA and headed over to my FIL's a few blocks away to watch the Astros game.

We are also near Heights HS. Have been on vacation the last two weeks and power came back on a couple of hours before we walked in the front door.

Holy crap! My inlaws are in Kings Point and their estimate shows Tuesday. Mine still shows today, and the other side of the street is giving me hope.
I hope so, we near HHS too and the map shows the 17 for us. Our across the street neighbor's map location showed the 15 but just got power an hour or so ago.

We bought this house in 09. Never flooded. During Harvey, we had a scheduled blackout from 12-8 am to repair lines.
Never lost power other than an hour here or there until May this year. Now we have two weeks on Beryl.
Of course, I'm from New Orleans so the elevation from the lake, elevation from street and distance from drainage were all factors for me.
I'm flying home now... Or trying. But all power is out at BWI airport and I've been on the tarmac close to two hours.
There's not much worse than sitting on the tarmac. They barely have the A/C running to save a tiny bit of fuel, so you're hot, stuck in a tube, and likely pay $8 per drink.
LOL, reminds me, decades ago, me and some buddies were stuck on the tarmac, and while the flight attendant wasn't looking, he grabbed about 10 of those little liquor bottles.

I feel bad for my neighbors...Everybody can see the downed lines. It's a simple fix. Not a single truck has come to do the work. Probably a couple hundred homes would get lit up if they fixed it.
CenterPoint has been all around this street, but never once to it. It just makes no sense. If you're in an area, fix the whole area and then move on.
