No change for my neighborhood in Cypress... even if they do get it restored, our transformer at the end of our street blew at 7AM, so I think we've got 2-3 layers of fixes until our house is restored...

She should probably stay. I am just down from Rayford on 99. We still have no power and saying it could be days. I may bug out of here with 2 pups tomorrow if it stays that way. I never lost internet and keep it on a couple of battery backups just for internet/wifi, since my phone is basically useless inside the house without wi-fi calling.

The grocery stores and gas stations on along 99 in my area were all back up and running but most of the other stores are not.

No nothing still at the lake. Gonna be a miserable night.

That was us during the decherigerio. Power came up, transformer blew and only my.block was out for the next 3 days. That sucked.

No power 77354 will be several days what I hear

Yeah, the transformer light show was not real promising for quick restoration.

Think I'll give it another night and then head out of town if it's not back on. I don't have the same tolerance for heat or bourbon that I had when Ike hit.

This. I deal in data and data alone doesn't explain an entire operating picture. Decisions are probably.made based on least amount of $$ to restore greatest number of people first. And the supply system is not something most understand

I would have her stay there, too. I drove Rayford from Birnham Woods to 45, and it was dark as far as the eye can see until 45/Sawdust, with the exception of a strip along 99. That's a lot of folks in the dark.

I'm sure this is no longer timely but I'm just north of there and we have power

Dora literally stated in her press conference that Centerpoint was staging ahead of time so it would be better than the May response. Probably still buzzed from her vacation I guess.

She also said they were releasing water from reservoirs in case it rains more. Who cares if bayous are over banks and no one can drive on roads.

Power back on in 77316 (Woodforest). Just in time for us to get settled in with the four gremlins 5 and under at the JW in San Antonio. I'm probably heading East first thing tomorrow if I can get a break in work calls

No power in Cypress off Mueschke

A Cold shower felt surprisingly good. I feel clean and alive with the funk off. For now.

My hair probably won't dry for a couple days, but oh well. Looking forward to another sleepless night.

Man I feel this. This is what I was expecting based on history of when my hood gets restored. We're usually 5-6 days out.

Now that we got super lucky I've got to get my **** square, I thought I was ready and I wasn't.
