Pretty nervewracking to watch the wind on my RING cam in The Woodlands from 120 miles away...just waiting to see if a trree falls on the house.

If the tree isn't too precarious and I don't get sent offshore, I have no problem helping cut them up if anyone needs help.

I'm in oak forest and I'd be shocked if some of our gusts didn't hit 80 mph.

Yeah. We are/were right on the eye wall. It's been pretty wild the last 20 min or so, but seems to be calming down for now. Got over 4" of rain in the last hour and a half.

Winding down here in Kemah. She still has a few jimmy kicks left in her, but we are definitely over the hump.

Sister is in River Oaks and said it is bad. Fence down, power out, big tree limbs down. They are pretty rattled.

Per NWS
Houston Hobby Airport (KHOU) recently reported a sustained wind of
58 mph (93 km/h) and a gust of 84 mph (135 km/h).
Car under water at 288 and 610. Just showed it on ABC13

The wind is nuts in Tomball right now.
Power out in a lot of places and cell service is getting spotty. I-10 between downtown and 99 got hit pretty hard the last two hours.
Yeah this is wild in 77008. My fence is still holding but noticed neighbors was gone now.

Power is out but it hasn't been anything crazy otherwise. Cell service has been in and out.
