Just lost power in 77007. First time hasn't come back on. Hopefully just slight delay while this passes, but not holding my breath.
News just reported 1.7 million people w/o power. WOW.
We've been fortunate this morning in that we lost power for maybe half an hour or so before it came back on. No flickers or outages since.
I'm guessing we're in the eye here right now, for the last half hour-ish, as there is absolutely no wind and only a drizzle of rain. It really looks like we just had a thunderstorm, nothing more. 77494, Peek at Highland Knolls.
No damage that I could find in my house. Roof looks good. Lots of tree debris but no massive limbs or anything.

Finally lost power in Cypress around 9 am. One section of fence down here in Fairfield.
Transformer just exploded out here. Light flickered. It isn't even bad yet.

Cinco ranch here west of 99 near Beckendorf JH. Power went out a little past 6am. Been dead calm for last 45 min as looks like we are getting right side of eye. Birds even chirping as I sit on back porch.
