Not to defend her, but it is perfectly normal for people who have a destination wedding to also have a gathering for friends and family locally. I've been to a couple of those while also being invited to the out of town.

However I haven't ever seen them giving a laundry list of vendors on social media etc. But they also don't have large social media presence so whatever.
