Thirty minute rain just northwest of Clear Lake per WFH friend.
Damn near wash out conditions over here now lol. Actual it's been off and on light showers for a couple hours now. Enough to not have to water. We'll definitely take it.

So my 2 week outlook shows rain in early Sep, but that's just the weather people giving us a slight bit of hope before it just turns to sunny and 105 highs right?
Also seeing mid 70s for the overnight lows next week. Hope that pans out; running in 75F weather feels so much better than 82F.
It seems like the overnight lows for 8-10 days out have been that way for three weeks or so. Feels rather cruel to give us hope and then slowly take it away over and over.
It's already changed down to only Sep 3 and 4 having potential rain chances, so that will be gone by next week I'm surewessimo said:

We've been just 7-10 days away from dropping temps for the past 20 days.
At some point it will happen though, but I'll believe it when I see it.
No kidding, at this point, even the Covid fear mongers are getting jealous of the "just two more weeks."

Does anyone remember the winter after 2011 summer? This summer has been really similar to 2011, so was just wondering what we had in store. I don't remember anything extreme. I just remember it took forever to get a good cold front. Hopefully not this year.
Seems like they just run the long term off historical norms and then actually correct as they approach.

We did it!!
Lifted at the gym about 90 minutes ago then went on a 20 minute run outside. It's somehow worse than Sunday!

Personally I think the apps keep hope alive at the end of the forecast so people will keep coming back to check. Ad revenue.

This is exactly what weather underground does I am convinced. There is always a 20-30 percent chance of something on day 10 of the ten day.
Parents in Kingwood had a pretty good rainstorm. Said it drop the temp 30 degrees
