That's what I assume, but from what I've read about other shows so far is that people are lining up WAY before. I'll be there shortly after doors open as there will likely be a line.

That wasn't the case last night at Floores.... There are a few pictures of people there around when the doors opened and there were like 4 people standing in front of the stage/rail with the entire rest of the venue empty.

Tonight will probably be different with it being Houston and with Cody Canada opening.

I couldn't get any friends to pay the high 3rd party ticket prices and ironically my girlfriend is in dallas going to the Miranda Lambert concert tonight. So I will be there solo. Oh well, I'll still have a good time.

Touche but when something you like wakes up from essentially being dead, like this band, it's pretty exciting to see again.

I'm glad they finally ended up plugging the fiddle in.

What a f****** great concert tonight. Whole band killed it. Evan was phenomenal. That was only my second time to see them perform but I can't imagine them performing any better.

Show was absolutely amazing! Evan sounded fantastic and you could tell how happy he was to be there. And the crowd singing every song made it even better. Seen them 10+ times and this may have been my favorite.

Next Saturday.....Red Rocks

What a night. The most underrated part of the night was Cody Canada with a 3 piece band jamming CCR for an hour. Seems like CCR is back in a new form with just 3 guys. Great to see. Best was Cody Canada starting up the set saying we had to put up with them for an hour. Dude is a legend and knew his spot for last night. They still nailed it for an hour. Couldn't ask for a better opener.

Only thing that comes close for me was Lyle and REK opening for George at Rodeo a few years ago.

Turnpike was great but it took them a while to get the vocals up and the stage lighting kind of sucked. Lots of smoke and backlights. Kind of seemed like they were trying to pass off Buddy Jackson from the road crew. I wanted crystal clear vocals and lights on the band.

The crowd singing along with every song was really cool. Throwing it right back to the band. Just a great night of music with great weather.

Red Rocks is going to be awesome. Some of you clowns have front row and it will probably be the greatest concert you've ever been to. At some point turn around and there will be 10,000 people on top of you. It'll be amazing.

I'd be jealous but I'll be in Belize celebrating our one year anniversary. Last night satisfied that Turnpike itch even it won't be as amazing as Red Rocks. If last night was any indication Turnpike at Red Rocks is going to be unreal.

So good to have them back better than ever.

Canada was great... couldn't have asked for a better opener.

So I found and met a young Lorrie at the show, along with her friend/roommate. They drove me back to their place afterwards. Just got back to my car recently. Who knew going solo would.be so much fun. Night to remember, Cody and Turnpike killed it!

All she smells is cheap perfume, and Truly, and cooter, and lies.

The show Saturday was great and wasn't that hot since there was a breeze. First time I've gotten there before the opener and I made sure to hydrate between beers, but I saw lots of bros that could barely stand halfway through Turnpike.

We were in the back by the entrance and it was crowded AF. I thought some dudes behind us were gonna throw down a couple folks pushing through trying to get a beer or piss. Sound wasn't the best where we were and some chick behind my buddy was screaming along w/ Felker the whole time.

Show was bad ass from Alabama all the way through. I was getting a little frustrated the first few songs of Turnpike with the sound. Evan's vocals were a little low and Kyle's fiddle was way too low but it was a fantastic show.

Shot in the dark, found a pair of raybans on the ground near me about half way through the show. Meant to drop them off at the venue on my way out but had way to many beers. Sent a note to the venue but thought I'd try here.

I've got a couple buddies going to the concert at Red Rocks and they're also gonna take a trip to Arapaho Basin for a day of snow skiing.

Yeah that's right...Arapaho still has snow and is open daily.

A basin is one of the resorts typically first to open and last to close. Not unusual for them to make it to Jun. tell them to get a parking spot on the beach

When did Red Rocks become a concert destination? Is it the weed thing?

I remember it being a hot concert venue back in the 90's so nothing new

I can't imagine a scenario I'd find myself in flocking to see a recovering addict belt out cliched country, excuse me - RED DIRT, tunes and boast about it. Ok so I'm married, but yeah I'd do it for some snatch if I were not able to procure it without this nonsense.
