Weird. Anyway, the tweet I posted is Jeff Lindner confirming that the pic everyone is griping about is old and fake news.

I thought it was a good, although tragic, write-up of what's happening right now in our fair burg

While I'm sure there are some folks that don't wear masks, they are <1% of the Houston area now. It's a divisive issue on Texags but not in reality
Agreed...I occasionally see someone wearing it wrong, but I can think of 1 time in the past 2-3 weeks I've seen someone just without a mask on. It's a non-issue now outside of forum 16 on Texagshtxag09 said:gougler08 said:

I'm doing the grocery shopping since my wife is pregnant. I've yet to see someone at H-E-B without a mask. Same with regular errands. We were at Home Depot yesterday and saw a guy without a mask. I was in the checkout line so around several other people and literally everybody did a double take. That's how uncommon not wearing a mask is right now.
Not a thing as in everybody wears them, or as in nobody wears them?Fitch said:
The article was pretty fair, even with the unnecessary finger wagging to shame masking up.
I agree with what others have said, here locally (Houston) I've seen basically total adoption of face coverings since Abbott made it a thing a month ago. Go a little north to College Station and it's about the same. Go East to Alabama, Mississippi or Florida and it's not even a thing.
I really don't get out much (1x/day for a 5-10min errand, at most 1x/wk for haircut/grocery, etc...) but I see someone without a mask several times per week. The biggest offenders... Hispanic blue collar workers, old white men & young black men.gougler08 said:Agreed...I occasionally see someone wearing it wrong, but I can think of 1 time in the past 2-3 weeks I've seen someone just without a mask on.
