Those rumors have been swirling for years but it's still owned by Metro National and I haven't gotten anything concrete. That being said, Metro National has owned that land and BBUSA since 2000 and there's no chance whatsoever that facility provides the highest and best value these days.

And the rumors these days have more detail than the past. Namely that Metro National is selling a portion of the land to Houston Christian and redeveloping the remainder into townhomes. But nothing concrete has been announced.

I hope it doesn't happen for at least 18 months.
My 17 year old has a good high school job working there on weekends.

It doesn't. But it is by far the most convenient, even if paying to hunt for a parking spot does suck.

At least at Big League Dreams you can drink also beer and watch football. You can at the RAC also, but you have to deal with the heat and umpires selling your kids vape pens or meth.

Anyone know what is going in at corner of Long Point and Campbell? They are tearing down that huge church (Amor y Restauracion). Hope its not another gas station

Based on a COH permit search, it looks like it's going to be a new apartment development with parking garage. As best I can tell it is being developed by Alliance Residential.

Don't know what the draw is to this place. Was not impressed w/their offerings. But my grandmother was Czech & made them so I've been particular for over 50 yrs.

His location is also iffy, at the moment. Moved into a Shipley's location that I frequented a few times as a kid when I used to bowl across the street way back when. It is beginning to turn as more and more development is going on there, will be interesting to see if he makes it.

Kolache king is good but there was a Czech kolache place 2 doors to the left that was legendary. It was called Kolache Bakery at 1839 Bingle. Had the best bread/sausage and cheese that one could ever make…

The best kolaches are made in a Czech's backyard.

I've heard the same - strip center / grocery right on the corner with all the houses behind it. Just rumors I have no actual evidence. But I've heard the same rumors as you.

I noticed Juarez old location was closed yesterday. Must be close to the new one opening
