I wish there were more m*lfs in yoga pants, but they are not the norm. I think most people with money are just having groceries delivered all the time now. I definitely don't feel an uppity vibe at that location at all.

Lol. Or the absolute cluster that parking lot turns into after 4 PM every single day. The scenery at that place is second to only the West gray Kroger(Krougar).

That entire parking lot from Chuy's to the HEB gas station has to be one of the most poorly designed parking lots in this entire city.

You've got traffic coming off the feeder but cross traffic coming from the parking lot crossing through immediately then stop signs everywhere. Not to mention the stop light at the entrance to HEB that backs up.

It's just impossible to get around easily no matter the time of day.

You forgot people (myself included) coming from the EB-WB U-turn that cut across all the lanes of the feeder to get to the first entrance by the gas station. That's a quick game of frogger that I have seen cause multiple fender benders.

it's not a bad model.

They build one central commissary for 90% of the stuff they sell and ship it all out to the satellite locations.

With the pricing they get on their food and relatively small footprints, I'm sure they're doing well.

Yesterday afternoon was a clusterfleck!
I was in the room here one day... watchin' the Mexican channel on TV. I don't know nothin' about Pele. I'm watchin' what this guy can do with a ball and his feet. Next thing I know, he jumps in the air and flips into a somersault and kicks the ball in - upside down and backwards... the dang (sc) goalie never knew what the hell hit him. Pele gets excited and he rips off his jersey and starts running around the stadium waving it around his head. Everybody's screaming in Spanish. I'

Still Screwed today... Southbound is down to 2 lanes and northbound is diverted across the median in one lane.


Last I heard this was a city of Houston problem though, not Mister Carwash.

Does anybody know what Metro is planning on doing with the former golf course land they started clearing in the last week or so? Looks like they still own the portion of the site fronting Gessner. I'm hoping for some new retail/restaurants instead of more single family homes. I couldn't find any recent news about the site.
