I got excited when I had an email from anOrdain in my inbox this morning. It said invitation to reserve your build slot.
I put myself on the wait list a while back and thought Christmas had come early for me. Finally my turn to to order is here.

I was actually an email inviting me to reserve my slot, but first available build slot is Oct-Dec 2025.
The reservation fee was due in GBP, so at least I got the current exchange rate working for me.

I am in the summer 2025 slot. Hope I'm still into watches at that point!

You don't pick your build until closer to your slot. I'm really not sure which way I'd go. Probably some shade of blue or green. Or maroon for a gameday watch.

That's awesome. I didn't realize you could customize other colors than the ones on the website. I could go for a Model 2 with a maroon face.

I like the green Model 2 as well. And I appreciate the Model 1 for it's look, but just don't think it's for me.

Those are nice, but that wait time is wow. I thought my 12-17 month wait on a hat from O'Farrell in Santa Fe was a long time.

I waitlisted a long time ago and got the email explaining the new waitlist process but haven't seen a slot offer yet. Honestly forgot how the process works other than it's a limited time to reserve and give a non refundable deposit. Anyone recall the details?

You're about to pay 616 GBP. The USD amount will depend on your method of payment to CW (credit cards will use their own conversion system, depending on their conversion rates).

Slick watch

I couldn't be happier with my CW purchase. I even get multiple comments from friends telling me the watch is "beautiful." It just looks and feels great.

I really like that 300. If they'd had it i would have gotten it over my 600.

Is the secondary value of Rolex and/or the availability of Rolex watches at MSRP coming down? Any chance at pre-COVID values out there? I'm just looking to add.

after market prices seem to be dropping, especially at the higher end.

I wouldn't expect Pre Covid pricing as Rolex had a couple price increases since then.

No one cares about my watches. My friends probably think I'm broke because I don't have an Apple Watch. I'm probably too young.

For any of you with access to the Navy Exchange website, they have eight different Omega styles for 20% off. For example, they have a Diver 300m Seamaster for $3,888, on sale from $4,860. I'm assuming that there's no tax, but you might have to verify that for online orders. Even if you're like me, a former reservist, you can still have access to Navy Exchange or equivalent. Just FYI.

Other brands include Hamilton, Rado, Longines, Tissot, Zodiac, some pre-owned Rolex, and bunch of fashion brands.

totally agree. Got mine sized and dialed in last weekend. it's comfortable, love the weight, shows and wears like a watch 3x the price. Bang for your buck-wise, a ton to love about it.
