Also a stunner, although the Blue bezel / white gold combo is my favorite in the Sub line.
Ha, I bet it is.FTAC2011 said:YouBet said:Just watching Tiger's post match interview in the bunkhouse and I'm pretty sure he was wearing this watch. Or something remarkably similar.FTAC2011 said:

Maybe that's why I just sold it
Agree with some of this. From the standpoint of someone who appreciates Rolex, but doesn't wear one, they don't make much sense at these prices other than as an investment. But there are several factors that have to be considered.SquirrellyDan said:
I don't want to ruffle any feathers here, but that's all most mid and high end watches are is marketing and branding. A Rolex is a fine product, but there isn't any intrinsic value in the watch to justify the prices other than the fact it's a Rolex. Same can be said of most luxury watches. I'm not saying they're not worth the money, because they certainly are worth whatever people will pay for them. I want one too!

I think I like the yellow gold better

Just my personal sense of style but even that doesn't do it for me. No gold, ever.
Not a fan of yellow gold either but this I would wear. ALL yellow gold is abhorrent to me but that's just personal taste on my part.FTAC2011 said:
Fair enough. You may like the oysterflex Daytona. One of these is what I'm trying to obtain next as a keeper
I have some stainless, but this is where I am too. Would like my next watch to incorporate some yellow gold, even if just a bezel, to coordinate with my Aggie ring and wedding band.TheOC16 said:TarponChaser said:schmendeler said:

Had I gone to any other University, I'd have probably never worn any watch other than stainless steel.
But growing up idolizing our gold rings and now owning one that literally never comes off my finger - I feel the best look is incorporating some gold on the other hand (wrist).
Less confident but you will know more. Watch he's wearing is a blue face but with black bezel. So reverse of this. Otherwise, it looks just like it. Rolex make that color combo for this watch?FTAC2011 said:YouBet said:Just watching Tiger's post match interview in the bunkhouse and I'm pretty sure he was wearing this watch. Root beer gmt. Not as flashy as yellow gold but so damned good looking.

This is why I love yellow gold. I wear it on my hand everyday and adding a watch makes it even better.
Not to mention yellow gold has always been classy and never gone out of style.

Those are both awesome but a gold watch on a rubber/synthetic strap seems strange to me
