Just an idea -- any way we could scoot this over to the Entertainment board? There's a sneakerhead thread there that gets a ton of traffic. I feel like this thread could grab some more attention there as well.

I like the Hydroconquest a lot. I struggled for weeks making up my mind between a Hydroconquest, Aquis, or aqua racer for my first "decent" automatic. Aquis won, but am interested in the newer ceramic version of the Hydroconquest with the less busy bezel. It's more expensive, but way nicer.

These are the two I'm currently going back-and-forth wrestling between for my next purchase sometime early next year. I think the Black Bay would work better with suits which I wear often - but the Seamaster Pro is the most visually captivating dive watch in my option - I'm pretty enamored with it.

Curious - is your "non-wave" qualifier just a personal aesthetic opinion? I hate the old version but really think the new laser etched waves are sharp.

Precisely. I could give a deep stylistic dive into why I think it works very well with my particular look, but yeah let's just stop at saying I think it looks good.

Maybe I should just start dming Farmer 1906 new pictures of a sport watch under a suit cuff every day.
