So Christopher ward does no extra cost fully custom watches as long as 25 or more are ordered. The Maroon watch thread on OB might get that going but I bet this board could build a much nicer looking one than what they come up with.

These are the two I'm currently going back-and-forth wrestling between for my next purchase sometime early next year. I think the Black Bay would work better with suits which I wear often - but the Seamaster Pro is the most visually captivating dive watch in my option - I'm pretty enamored with it.

Curious - is your "non-wave" qualifier just a personal aesthetic opinion? I hate the old version but really think the new laser etched waves are sharp.


The non wave qualifier I put in there based on his budget. The wave dial smp is closer to 4k. I love both

Tried these two on today. Not a huge fan of the Presidential but would take the Daytona. Still want to see the meteorite face on one.

Daytona was pending sale. If it falls through I'll pick it up. Tried on a rose gold as well just not really my style. Nothing in the cases though.

Horology tells us, without question, dive watches are versatile. That's not the issue, and one could wear them with a turtleneck.

This is a separate question, however, from good taste and appropriateness. One should avoid wearing dive watches with suits. What is the function of the watch? What was it made for? The form of dress should conform to function.

Actually the place closes in an hour so I can call in if someone wants it and they can hold it for me. Regularly 20 but a grand off for black friday. Looks about 2 grand less than a quick joma search.
