Why is that a huge get?
He's the greatest tennis player of all time, and a well respected sportsman. He easily becomes Hublot's most famous ambassador.

Tennis and golf are the main stream sports of the wealthy. Final match seats at Wimbledon is a who's who. And Novak might finish his career as the best Tennis player of all time. They know what they're doing. But ignorance is bliss.

Sure but what does that have to do with their watches? It's the same yesterday as today.

Don't get your shtick. Most of the major watch brands have ambassadors. Carry on playing dumb though.

Sorry I don't buy watches based on who they pay their advertising money to.

Nobody cares. I'm a fan of Hublot and it's good for the brand.

You seem awfully angry about this. I was just trying g to understand your logic. Guess youre just a fanboy.
Given your username I'm predicting you'll get the Daytona...next year.Daytona22 said:
Which one are you wanting?
I'm going on 3 years waiting for a Daytona. I was offered a black one about a month after being on the wait list. Really wanted the white so I told them I would wait... they haven't gotten one in since
Makes perfect sense, which is why many folks only buy new. I'm in the buy-used-if-possible camp. Home, current truck, previous truck, last 2 watches, last rifle, last shotgun - all pre-owned. Only big tickets items I've bought new in the last few years are a generator & a few pistols.AustinCountyAg said:
I've gotten the itch bad for an Omega seamaster 300m in 41mm...not sure if I should try and scan the web for a new one somewhere or save some cash on a used. My dilemma with the used is knowing someone else besides me was the one who scuffed it up with the scratches and already made memories with it, if that makes sense.

Wife just gave me the go ahead to go get myself a watch. Anyone here rocking an omega seamaster diver? It's currently at the top of the wish list. Prolly heading to the galleria sometime this weekend to try one on!

First, talk to FTAC2011 here.
Second, ping AJ Ramirez over at Zadok in the Galleria (aj at zadok dot com). I've had a chance to deal with him and he's a really good dude. Very chill, no pressure approach, and you can try on lots of different watches with him and not feel obligated to buy anything.
They have a ton of different brands. You can go in and try some seamasters but it's also fun to check out what other brands have going on while you're in there. They have a great setup.
